Summertime is officially here! I am beyond excited for days full of sunshine, concerts, and making memories. As y'all may or may not know, I have officially made the crazy move to Atlanta!! I have accepted a full time job in social media and could not be more excited to see what the future holds for me. 

This romper is beyond. When I first saw it at Madewell, I literally stopped. I thought it was two pieces, and if you know me and my love for playsuits, then you can imagine my reaction. It even has a super cute open back, making it perfect for summer days. It may or may not be coming with to Charleston to #SBSCon in just ONE MONTH! 

Can ya tell I'm excited?! 

Lots of fun and chaotic things going on in my world, and I would not have it any other way. Hope y'all will enjoy the ride as much as I intend to. And, a little sneak peek, get really excited as I launch a new series (once I find a permanent spot to live in) as I decorate my first big girl apartment.

So I have to tell y'all the story behind the background for this shoot. My gal pal Cortney and I were driving down the road trying to find other places to shoot. **Spoiler Alert: I tend to shoot at least 4 or 5 looks at the same time, so we wander to trick y'all (oops)** 

Literally we were at a stop sign with Lake Mayer in front of us and Cort goes "OMG there's a boat, that would be so cute! GO GO GO!" So I naturally that's where we ended up doing the shoot. Running to the grass from my car so we could get the boats in the right spot behind me! 

If y'all know anything about me, or if you're new to the blog, I love big jewelry, loud prints and adding quirks to my outfits. Like Cortney said to me at work today, "You already dress kinda weird so you might as well get that." After getting a little sassy with her, I decided to take it as a compliment (which I'm pretty sure is how she meant it, if she's reading!) 

While I love a good show-stopping moment, sometimes it's nice to just throw on a bunch of neutrals and call it a day. This was one of those times. I'm in major love with this cardigan, I've worn it several times with a burnt orange cropped tee (seen on my insta). It's a bit of a boyfriend fit which makes it a little cooler than your average cardi.

I can't even believe the words that are about to come out of my mouth y'all. They say things can happen in the blink of an eye, well it was barely a flutter of my eyelashes to have my entire world rocked. I wish I could say my news was something that I had been planning, diligently and thoughtfully, but in all honesty.....it just kind of happened. 

This gal is packing up her baubles, blazers and favorite Diana Warner loafers and heading back to the A! 

That's right ladies and gents, Atlanta has officially lured me back and given me a FULL TIME JOB! I am beyond excited, nervous, sad and so pumped for this next chapter that was thrown into my story. And don't worry, the blog will continue, just in a brand new city as I figure out how to conquer the ATL as an adult, instead of an 18 year old kid. I didn't really know this was the jolt I needed, as I have been in a little bit of a funk lately, but I am just so ready and eager to get started. 

Oh, did I mention I am moving THIS WEEKEND. As in Memorial Day weekend. WOAH. 

Yep, In My White Tank.

Let's chat about a problem I have tried to deal with for as long as I can remember. I think all the ladies out there, and some gents maybe, struggle with finding the perfect white tee/tank. White is the most difficult shirt to find, because lets face it, you don't want to give everyone on the street a peep-show while walking around. It can't be too thin, or too thick. Too off-white or too stark. (HELLO spilling everything on yourself). 

But, fear not y'all, at last your prayers have been answered. The gods listened to the worldwide struggle and given us this muscle tank from J. Crew. Not only is it the softest piece of fabric I have ever put on my body, but the white is not see through. That's right, no wet t-shirt contest like thinness here!! 

I don't think y'all really understand how excited I was at finding this unicorn of a white tank, but I just hope J. Crew sees this and creates its sleeve counterpart. I would buy the whole lot. 

Barefoot And 90 Degrees.

As summer quickly approaches....it was pushing 90 degrees when we shot this look, I get so excited about finding the perfect pieces that bridge the gap from wanting to be cute, and not wanting to sweat to death in this Georgia coastal heat. 

I will be the first to admit that Forever 21 and I have been a bit at odds lately. It seemed like everytime I went in there, I was bombarded with little high schoolers wanting everything body con, and finding racks on racks of literally nothing. Getting so frustrated that I leave after like 10 minutes. Which is so not like me. 

However, the last two times I went in I have come out a winner. Scoring both the wedges in today's look and this adorable culotte jumpsuit. I can't wait to romp around in it all summer!

There are very few things I love more than a good stripe, a distressed pair of denim and a floral print. Clearly this look is a home run, grand slam, knock it out of the park deal. Sorry for all the baseball terminology, but I'm just so excited! 

We all have those things we gravitate towards while out shopping, or lets be real, in our yoga pants lounging on the couch filling our online shopping bags to capacity. 

I can't wait to wear these super fun kicks all summer long, with cropped denim, a fun swing dress or  a deep v-neck black jumpsuit.
