DressUp Floral Romper // Forever 21 Wedges // Rebecca Minkoff PolkaDot Bag // Sunnies //

Excuse the random mess y'all. This side of the airstream was not loaded up
with TONS of people, flamingos, and baubles.

There are certain times in life where you fall head over heels in love. Now while I have not had this feeling about my prince charming yet, definitely thought it happened with a couple who turned out to be frogs though, I have swooned over many an article of clothing. It sounds materialistic maybe, but  sometimes I just can't deny a good print, great fabric or interesting shape.

This romper is absolutely no exception! When I met the ladies from DressUp Boutique a couple weeks ago at #SBScon, I was reminded how much I love the brand! When I was searching through their new arrivals shortly after, I about died over the print of this little number. And when I found out it was a romper, it had to be mine. Y'all know I love a good onesie.

A Matching Set.

J. Crew Printed Top // J. Crew Printed Shorts // Forever 21 Wedges // Sunnies // Rebecca Minkoff Bag // Stud Bracelets (c/o Moon and Lola) // Loren Hope Bracelet (borrowed from Laura)

I know y'all are probably sick of me going on and on about the third annual Southern Blog Society's Conference a couple weekends ago in Charleston, but this is the last look from that fabulously festive weekend with my blogger bestie/roomies/photogs Laura & Corbin

I thought this little two piece matching number was perfect for the all day conference and meet the brands day. It screams fun and sassy, especially after having a crazy fun-filled Friday. I do wish I would have brought my Regent Blazer, since it was downright freezing in the building in the morning. Luckily, walking around to all the brands and getting weighed down with all kinds of fabulous goodies, warmed me up really quick!

Obviously my bag had to make its appearance, y'all know I love a good print mix.

Side note, there are some MAJOR BIG THINGS happening in the very near future on the blog. Just hang on tight and promise to stay loyal as I make some definite changes to the blog as we know it. I could not be more excited for the facelift.

#MLxxBB Launch Party

DressUp Floral Romper // Nars Lipstick // Moon and Lola Pillows (Like A Boss, I'm So Fancy, #Flawless)

In case y'all missed it, I moved to Atlanta less than three months ago. With dreams of having my first big girl job being a dream, getting out of my comfort zone and growing my blog in a city where there are so many more opportunities than my little seaside town could ever imagine, I decided to take the leap.

Last Thursday I had a pinch myself moment when I realized everything I wanted was in the process of happening. I have my own apartment (working on a home series, don't worry!), I love my job and the people I work with, and last week I attended a fabulous launch party for two of my favorite brands. As I sipped out of my flamingo float marg and stacked the bangles sky high, I realized I could do this blogging thing. I could network, make lasting impressions on people and have a good time.

Not to mention I met my idol, no exaggeration, Courtney Kerr. I literally DIED when I found out she was going to be there, and completely fangirled. Not to her face of course, I was totes calm. We chatted about her fabulous cape, which is about to become a staple in my wardrobe, like we were longtime girlfriends.

CK's ASOS Cape (I DIED when I saw it, it's beyond fab IRL y'all)

I was SO excited when this romper from Dress Up showed up at my doorstep the morning of this event. It was perfect for the crazy hot temps. Full outfit deets to come later this week.

If I don't say this enough, I love each and every one of y'all for reading along to my rambling thoughts and baring with me through the ups and downs to try and make this blog something! I am beyond excited for what is to come... there are HUGE things coming!

Just Crop It.

Leather Crop Top (old) // Striped Pants (old) // Zara Leopard Heels // Gold Clutch //

Photos by Laura Leigh

When brainstorming what I was going to wear to night one of #SBScon several things popped into my head. Initially my thought went to dress, simple and fun but very cocktail hour appropriate. As I thought about it, I decided that might be playing it a little too safe. But of course, when I started packing my intuition told me to bring the leather crop top. I mean, isn't that what everyone thinks of when they pack?

The time came for me and my roomies (and now blogger besties) to get ready, nothing else seemed appropriate but these two tried and true pieces. I styled it a bit differently in these pics than I did for the actual event, but with the cocktail hour being on the rooftop at 6pm in hot Charleston, we were not particularly photo ready. Replace the giant bauble with a hot pink lip and add a crown braid by Corbin, and you've got my rooftop look. Y'all can check it out on my Instagram

The takeaway from this look is definitely to take risks. When an event calls for "cocktail attire" why go straight to a dress? Why not wear a great pair of wide leg pants and a crop top? Why can't you make an unexpected choice and completely rock it? I say take those fashion risks, who says you can't?

Our best twinning emoji pose.

With the 4th of July later this week, all I can think about is the beach, bbqs and red lips. This past weekend was the infamous #SBScon in Charleston and I decided day three should be a nod to old southern charm. I was feeling very festive and brunch ready.

The striped dress is ancient from Gap, and I am working tirelessly to find this bag y'all. So far I am coming up empty, but I am feeling confident. And you guys, this lip color is NYC. Like $1.99 at Walgreens and is the absolute best! It lasted through these photos, breakfast and a 4.5 hour car ride! That is a game changer.

Looking back on these photos I am already missing Charleston and its vine-filled walls, bright colored walls and cobble streets.
